This scrub smells amazing and is a really good exfoliant, but it does leave a waxy greasy layer behind after rinsing off. I just used the Lemon Acne soap to wash away the waxy film and my face felt lovely and soft afterwards. It also left a subtle glitter all over my face which I wasn't expecting, but thankfully my toner took most of it off. Would still recommend though, and I'll definitely continue to use it.
Pros: smells really lovely, works quite well, the moisturising effect is pretty good.
Cons: with the salt it's a bit harsher than a pure sugar scrub; too oily & harsh for a face scrub (just use on body); you do need to wet it and apply gently and carefully at first or it falls off; using all over the body, you probably only get 4 uses out of it, maybe 5.
This scrub smeells lovely however O found it too greasy for my face even after rinsing. I am going to use it as a body scrub only.
Unfortunately I just can’t use this. Its very hard to use as it’s so thick and doesn’t spread. It feels like you are rubbing lard into your skin and the feeling of my skin afterwards is awful, it’s as though I have a thick layer of oil on my body
I use this on my face. It smells gorgeous and lemony and leaves my skin soft and doesnt make it dry
