How to succesfully switch to a solid shampoo bar - Guide

Not getting on with your new shampoo bar?
Is your hair feeling waxy and/or greasy?
This may be because the shampooo you have picked is not the right fit for your hair type!
However, due to high mineral content in water (depending on the area you live in) your hair may be left with waxy deposits. Even when you wash it multiple times, hard waters reaction to solid shampoo causes your hair to feel this waxy. If you have soft water and this is stil happening to you - the shampoo you have chosen is most likely not the right type for your hair.
How to overcome the waxy residue?
Method 1:
Try a Vinegar rinse to bring your scalp acidity back down It might help rebalance your scalp.
  1. Mix a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with water.
  2. After shampooing and conditioning, pour the mixture over your hair evenly, working into your scalp.
  3. Let it sit for a couple of minutes.
  4. Rinse it out.

Method 2:
Mix one tablespoon of baking soda into 250ml of warm water. Stir until dissolved (it helps if you whisper things like “free-range” and “namaste” while doing so), then pour it over wet hair. Massage this magical mixture into your scalp and rinse well.
